The pandemic hit different people in different ways. For Jevon and Anggie, it hit the wedding they’ve been planning for a while. Jevon and Anggie already had their wedding day planned to the tiniest details, it’s going to be a beautiful wedding. On the same day they finalized the payment for all of their wedding vendors, Jakarta’s Governor announced 2nd batch of large-scale local restrictions (PSBB). Wedding receptions were banned to prevent the spread of the virus. Plan’s got to change!
They finally decided to hold their wedding reception in one of Anggie’s good friend's house. Both the Holy Matrimony and reception were attended by less than 20 people. However, their wedding was one of the most beautiful-intimate-in-the-midst-of-pandemic weddings. Everyone looked so happy and enjoyed the day. Well in the end, what’s important is not how big the party was or how many people came but how they got to share one of the most precious moments in their lives and celebrate it with the people they truly care about. Plans could fail, but love never fails.
