There is a myth saying that two people who look alike are meant for each other. One of Diana’s office mate randomly said that there’s a man at another business unit in Jakarta office who looks just like her. She agreed to know him more with no intention to be more than friends, but during their four days conversation via chat, there was a connection she usually doesn’t feel. Through those four days of conversation, Ian decided to fly from Jakarta to Surabaya to meet her in person.
A long-distance relationship is usually hard, but for Diana and Ian, it was easier. Maybe it was helped by their straightforward attitude, or by their 11 years age gap, or maybe it simply because everything was beautiful and perfect at the right time. For them dating once-a-month or even once every two months is enough, they found that it gave them more time to spend with themselves without being too attached to one another. Flowers and surprises are not their things. They are a very simple couple who sticks on the essentials and it reflected on how they arranged their wedding day. It’s simple yet meaningful.
